Spring into Summer 2022

My garden has gone from a sad little thing to a lush full garden of Eden. At least the garden up front. Here are a few highlights from the season so far.

So far this is my favorite rose. I do not know what the rose is called, but it is a beautiful velvety red with dark tips.
So far this is my favorite rose. I do not know what it is called because I bought it on clearance at the home depot at the end of last summer but it is a bright velvety red with dark tips.

I am loving my little path to the side yard. The garden is full and lush this year, can't wait for all of the flowers to bloom :)

I believe that this is a hybrid tea rose, but I can't be sure. it is one of the rose bushes I got on sale last year. But man it smells wonderful. A classic rose that makes my whole yard fragrant.

My Russian Sage is doing wonderfully this season.

After trimming my Azalea bushes down to only a few feet tall and wide I was able to get the full experience of this pop of color in my side yard,

To my surprise this year I was rewarded with volunteer pansies and violas.

The soft leaves of this plant add an interesting contrast to the spiky leaves.

I fixed my puddle problem with rocks this year, now I won't have to worry about all of my mulch being washed away at the first down poor.
